The Little Truckee is still running high, but the flows and fishing remain good. Anglers can expect to start seeing more green drakes and cadis flies on the Little Truckee. Water is still overrunning the willows and shoreline in some sections. Anglers should use a nine foot 5 x leader, but can also get away with a shorter leader when the flows are this high.

FLOWS: 272 CFS

RECOMMENDED GEAR:
Bugs:  PMDs, Green Drakes, Skwalas, B.W.O’s, Midges, Worms, Crawdads, Sculpins, and Caddis
Gear:  9′-11′ 4-6wt rod with 7′-12′ 4x-5x leader,
