Striper boils have been seen in the first few hours of the mornings throughout the lake and some in the afternoon throughout the marina. Top water baits, jerkbaits, and flukes have been productive baits in the boils otherwise anglers have had the best luck either trolling around the lake or dropping down some bait during the heat of the day to fish deeper for the stripers.
Catfish have also been consistently biting on various baits such as nightcrawlers, sardines, anchovies and chicken liver down deep in the coves around the lake.
Largemouth and Smallmouth bass have also been biting well along the shorelines of the lake either on flukes, senkos or top water baits in the morning hours. Weedless setups for the flukes and senkos have been the best way to fish the grassline to come across the bass throughout the day or nightcrawlers dropshot style down deep.
