As of The Weekend The Ice Was Still 6-8 Inches Thick

As of the weekend, the ice was still 6 to 8 inches thick. Trout in the 12- to 18-inch range are hitting PowerBait, night crawlers, and jigs. Some anglers have even been able to get a bass or crappie to hit a jig fished through the ice. For up-to-date ice conditions contact Spring Valley State Park at 775-962-5102.
