Fishing at the lake has good, but impacted heavily by weather conditions. On stormy days the fish are coming into shallow water in force. The LCT are schooling well and we are seeing the amount of double ups increase. The larger fish are still rolling in from noon to about 4 with a couple of grabs at sunrise and sunset. On the overcast days the fish are being caught on both the retrieve as well as under an indicator. The Dark Lord Booby has been very productive on those days.

Sunnier days the fish are retreating into deeper water so fishing indicators from 6-12 feet is a good idea. Midges have been key, but we have gotten a few fish on balanced leeches towards the afternoon. Make sure to change your depth constantly as that can make the difference between a slow day and a great day.
