Water Conditions:

The Reservoir remains fairly low this spring, however, the level is slowly rising with spring runoff.Average water temps have risen from 48 - 54 to 52-55 degrees.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good

Fish are averaging in the 2-5 lb range and seem to be spread out with the best spots being Rainbow Point, off the Ledge, and down by the Dam. Fishing has picked up over the last week. Midge fishing in 9-10 feet just outside the Marina is producing some nice fish as well. Mirroring Crowley, the best action starts around noon and goes into the mid- afternoon wind permitting. Midges are still the most predominant hatch but the callibaetis hatches have started as well, quite a bit early but welcomed.
On warm days tte callibaetis hatches are getting stronger, beginning late morning. If you're pulling streamers, there have been good reports from down by the dam.
Bridgeport Marina has a.m. ?? day rental rates, very uncommon in the rental world, decidedly fly fisherman friendly. Thanks, Jeff!!
