Weedless setups with senkos and creature baits have been working the best during the heat of the day to work through the grass more effective. Stripers have been seen boiling int eh morning hours and biting smaller baits like kastmasters and swimbaits or top water. Catfish have also been biting consistently in the coved and off of sandy banks on various cut baits like anchovies and sardines or nightcrawlers along the bottom. Bluegill and crappie are also biting in the back of coves and along the grass lines and weeds using worms or jigs.
