Anglers are getting out early in the day before the winds pick up. As water temperatures continue to warm in the coming weeks, black bass and catfish will become more active. Bass action is already picking up in the Overton Arm where anglers have found good luck with watermelon-colored worms and Jerkbaits. Striped bass have been most active in the evenings. The fish have been taking anchovies just off the bottom

Comins Lake: No change here
Illipah Reservoir: The road into the lake has been plowed and in good shape
Lamoille Creek: As of February 19, Lamoille Creek was flowing at 5.4 cfs
Kingston Creek: As of February 19, Kingston Creek was flowing at 2.4 cfs
Cleve Creek: As of February 19, Cleve Creek was flowing at 4.5 cfs
South Fork Reservoir: The ice here is unsafe and anglers should stay off
Steptoe Creek: As of February 19, Steptoe Creek was flowing at 1.9 cfs
Ruby Lake NWR: Fishing has been fair for 13 to 16-inch fish
Owyhee River - East Fork: The East Fork of the Owyhee River near Mountain City was showing ice but expect flowsbetween 30 and 35 cfs
Humboldt River: As of February 19, South Fork of the Humboldt was flowing at 10 cfs
Bruneau River: The Bruneau River is showing ice but expect flows around 20 to 25 cfs
