Water Conditions
The Little Truckee River has consistent flows around 140 CFS between Stampede and Boca reservoirs. This fishery is easier for anglers to wade in and there is more dry fly activity throughout the day here.

Tips for the Week
Anglers should try using light tippets with dry flies for the best results during the day. Dry fly activity is currently best in the afternoons. Dry dropper rigs are recommended if you are going to fish nymphs. Hopper dropper or stonefly dropper is your best bet. Anglers should fish the fast water behind the rocks and snags. The fish tend to look for cover during the day.

Juju baetis size 20, zebra midge size 20, psycho prince size 18, pats rubber legs size 14, pheasant tail size 18, or hares ear size 18
