Lure anglers did the best at sunrise

Striped bass anglers caught line sides while using cut sardines, anchovies, chicken liver, and jumbo live minnows. Soaking baits on the bottom after check gates has provided consistent limits. Lure anglers did the best at sunrise with large jerkbaits, topwater, and Flukes. If you don’t find biting fish move to the next control gate. Largemouth also bit jerkbaits, and they picked up drop shot flukes and grubs in baitfish colors. Catfish anglers had another excellent week with several huge kitties getting weighed in. Whisker fish ate cut baits, dip bait, fresh shrimp, and chicken liver.
