The Virginias are still fishing very well, it sounds like Little V and Trumbull are completely thawed out and Big V is about 95 percent thawed. The most successful anglers are ones that are getting away from the shore and fishing Hook Up Baits, Thomas Bouyants, Kastmasters and Sierra Slammers as well as drifting crawlers. There are some shore anglers also doing well with power bait, inflated crawlers and mice tails, if you’re going to fish from shore try adding a little extra weight so you can get a good long cast away from the shoreline. There are some fly anglers also doing well stripping streamers like Twin Lakes Specials, matukas and mini leeches.
