Report: Recent reports have the fish chasing Callibaetis and leeches. Keep your eyes peeled for ants, you will want some if the fish are on these. Adams in #14 & 16 for the Callibaetis, and Schlotter's Flying Ant, the Flying Ant, and Ant Misehaving will have your bases covered for the ant fall. This lake has a ton of Damselflies and Dragonflies, and olive Damseleeches can be dynamite! Any sort of leech pattern, Wooly Buggers in brown and olive, and Balanced Leeches should be in your box. Fished under an indicator or stripped on an I-Line, these patterns can save your day when the mayflies and ants are AWOL. Of course, you would be remiss if you didn't have an array of midge pupae ready to fish. Zebra Midges in #16 - 18, black and red, are a staple here.
