Dropping

Fishing is picking up on the Rio.  Expect hatches of stones, caddis, and even a few mayflies to be around.

Stone Dries 4-10: Chubbies, Simulators, Mill Creek Golden. Rogue Foam Stone, Sofa Pillow.

Caddis: Elk Hair Caddis 12-16, Peacock Caddis 12-16, EZ Caddis 12-16.

Arkansas River: It’s a weird start to summer
San Juan River: Flows are dropping, and nymph fishing might actually start to pick up
Piedra River: Falling Flows are dropping but it’s still pretty high
Los Pinos River: Below the dam, fishing will be better than above, but flows are up
Dolores River- Below McPhee: Dolores River Below McPhee Report
Dolores River- Above McPhee: Falling Flows are still high, dirty, cold
Rio Grande: The Rio is still in runoff season
Florida River: Runoff is subsiding above, but still high now
San Miguel River: High-water nymph rigs will be your friend
