10.22 lb. Striper

The striper bite has been a bit slow, with smaller 1-to-3-pound fish taking the bait first. However, we've seen some larger fish coming in this time of year. Local anglers Mike and Mitch Jones, the twins, were able to land a nice-sized striper weighing 10.22 pounds and measuring 32 and 1/2 inches in length. They were trolling in the Parkway Bridge area.
There's also some good news from the community park area, where a few smaller ones are being caught, along with the Rotary Park area. We're getting some trout plants, so we hope to see a few anglers with rainbow trout to share. Unfortunately, not much has been happening in the marsh area due to low water levels, making it challenging for anglers to get their boats off the trailer there.
On Lake Mohave, the water level is rising, but anglers still need to watch out for shallow water, and the striper bite has been inconsistent. We hope this information is helpful, and we look forward to seeing you soon to share your catches. Thank you so much for your continued support. Now, go catch a fish!
