One of our local anglers, Charles Viagar, recently experienced great luck while fishing from shore in the Rotary Park area. He successfully landed a 21.16-pound striper, measuring 37 and 1/4 inches in length, using a swim bait.

Reports are coming in that both the community park and the casino area are yielding a fair share of stripers as well. Local and visiting anglers alike are having a fantastic time using their favorite lures to reel in these larger fish.

For trout enthusiasts, we're pleased to announce a substantial stocking of rainbow trout from the Willow Beach hatchery. Anglers are having good luck with power bait and night crawlers. If your current bait isn't delivering the desired results, it might be time to switch to your favorite spinner or trout jig.

We're always excited to hear about your fishing adventures, so don't hesitate to share your catches and stories with us. Thanks for all your support! Now, go catch a fish!
