Pyramid held at 86 percent of capacity, and water temperatures were in the upper fifties. The trout bite has slowed as the rainbows spread throughout the lake. Anglers reported some fish taking dough baits and trout lures in the marina. Large and smallmouth fell for deep diving crankbaits and A-rigs on main lake points, bluff walls, and rocky structure first thing in the morning. After that most bites came out in deeper water with drop shot, Texas rigs, and C-rigs getting bit. Striped bass ate cut sardines and lugworms at a decent clip in the Marina. Lure anglers threw big topwater and swimbaits for fish to ten pounds. Spoons got bit for anglers who metered striper schools with their electronics. Catfish ate chicken liver, dip bait, and cut baits at the inlet and in the marina.
