It will be a while before the Klamath will be clear enough to fish. This is good news! The remaining dams will be removed over the next six to seven months and the anadromous species, Steelhead and Chinook Salmon, will once again have access to cold springs and spawning grounds above. Preparations to stage equipment and move the hatchery was completed in the last couple of weeks, and the lake drawdowns have begun. The release from Iron Gate was bumped up to 2,500 CFS and there is a lot of sediment coming down the river. We will keep you posted on the progress of this largest of it's type project through the year.
Hot Flies:
Eggs:
• Clown Egg
• Micro Spawn - Shrimp Pink or Salmon Egg
