As of 07/25/24 South Fork Reservoir remains under a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) watch.
Vegetation growth is increasing with the high temperatures. Fishing for trout is fair, with anglers from boats in deeper water having the most luck. Fishing for bass is good, with most anglers targeting weedy points and coves. Catfish are also active, with anglers having some luck from shore using shrimp.
