Flows are excellent and fishing has been great. The river is around 300cfs and has stable for some time now. There has been a few reports of stocked Lahontan Cutthroat around the parks in town and west of town. Water temps are prime and fish are scattered. Small spinners and spoons have been goon in areas that have some depth to it. There has been a few mayflies hatching in the late afternoons which should pick up as we get closer to winter. Fishing should remain good until the extreme cold sets in.

Jakes Creek Reservoir (Boies Reservoir): Water levels are low but holding, with aquatic weeds present near shore
Jiggs Reservoir (Zunino Reservoir): Water levels are fair
Ruby Lake NWR: Bass fishing in the South Lake and Unit 21 continues to be good
South Fork Reservoir: As of 08/19/24 South Fork Reservoir remains under a Harmful Algal Bloom
Owyhee River - East Fork: Fishing remains excellent in the first few miles below Wildhorse Reservoir
Lamoille Creek: Flows have lowered, but are holding
Bruneau River: Fishing has been slow with the lower stream flows
Wild Horse Reservoir: Fishing slowed with the cold front last week but will improve this weekend
