The lake is currently closed on weekdays, but remains open on the weekends. We will re-open for weekday fishing in mid-December following the first trout stock.

Largemouth bass are being caught by boaters near the South Shore Rock Pile using swimbaits and jigs.

The cooling water temperatures that occur in the fall encourage the channel cats to migrate from shallower water towards the reed lines following the bait fish. It is also a time when the big blues feed more voraciously fattening up for winter. The lake record, which has been climbing steadily for the last ten years, stands currently at 71.20#s set in late December of 2023 by Abisail Martinez. Only time will tell if it lasts the year.
