Fishing on the Metolius has been steady, with key hatches tapering off as we head into winter. BWOs around size 18 will hatch daily, with peak activity from late morning to early afternoon. Focus on emergers like film critics, and Sparkle Duns for surface feeders.  PMDs and Cinygmula are still popping up, but they won’t last much longer.  Nymphing will be productive with a golden or peacock stone or an egg such as slush eggs, especially during colder months.
