Anglers have been catching stocked rainbow trout off the Willow Beach fishing pier with night crawlers and PowerBait. A few reports of double-digit stripers have come in from boaters fishing in 50 feet of water. Black bass anglers are seeing the most action in the Cottonwood Basin or at the south end of Lake Mohave. Shad swimbaits and Whopper Ploppers are the go-to baits, but the fish are also hitting tubes, jigs and jerkbaits.
