Water Conditions: Great the flows are at 110cfs as of 5/25.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Excellent! The flows have been pretty consistant the past two weeks, between 100 and 120cfs. The constant flows are usually pretty good for the fishing as fish get in a routine and tend to hold in the same places. The water is still fairly clear compared to what it usually is. Same fare, Midges and Caddis with a mayfly here and there. Not hearing much in the way of streamer activity.
RECOMMENDED FLIES:
DRIES: Elk Hair Caddis #18, Grey or Olive Parachute Caddis #18, Parachute Adams #18-20, Extended Body BWO #18-20, Goddard Caddis #18
NYMPHS: Lafontaine's Sparkle Pupa #18-20, Nori's Caddis Pupa Green #18, Fox's Caddis Poopah Green #18, Black Flashy WD-40 #20, Miracle Nymph #18-20, Black WD-40 #20, Zebra Midge Black or Copper #20-22, BH Flashback Pheasant Tail #16-18, Red Copper John #20, Pheasant Tail #18-22
STREAMERS: Perfection Perch #10, Punk Perch #10, Black Wooly Bugger #8, Leeches
Guides Hint: Flows are going to vary depending on how much the ranchers need in Nevada. They could care less about the fish or the fisherman.
