Flows are holding at 121 CFS. These are great flows for this time or any time of year. Usually the report for July and August is the water is high, crossing is near impossible and the brush has grown up and it is hard to get to the water.

121 CFs allows anglers to cross the river almost anywhere and stay inside the river banks and avoid weaving your way through the underbrush that usually takes off this time of year. This is really important on the Nevada side. PMD's have been seen hatching in the mornings and Caddis are around pretty much all day.

Nymphing with these bugs either dry dropper style or with an indicator has been working well. Golden Stones in size 10-12 fished as the lead fly on these rigs has also been catching fish. This is also a great time of year to fish big Dries. Either Golden Stones or Hoppers are the way to go. Fish them along the edges and seems around deeper water before jumping right into the middle. You will spook fish in a foot of water or less if you are not careful. The further away from Bridgeport Reservoir you are fishing the more important it is to fish early and quit early. The water has been changing 15-20 degrees daily due to air temperatures.
