The Virginias are still producing lots of nice fish too. Bait anglers are killin' it with power bait and inflated crawlers. Lure anglers are using Kastmasters, bouyants and krocadiles.
Fly anglers are using buggers, matukas, soft hackles, ap emergers, seal buggers, stillwater nymphs, beetles and ant patterns. We hear there are still 2 or 3 Alpers rainbows that are in the 12 pound class cruising around Little V, think you can bag one??
