Reports have been great from this "hike to" alpine destination north of Bridgeport. I have received pictures of some big cutts as well as these photos from Vic & Kyle Davis who caught some nice brookies. Still water nymphing and streamers work here. Bring along tubes for sure.

Crowley Lake: Crowley Lake - fly fishing update 10/11/2012
Bridgeport Reservoir: The water level is low at Bridgeport, but the cooler temps have the fish back on the bite
East Walker River (CA): On the East Walker you will find most of the fish in the deeper water by the dam
Hot Creek: Much of Hot Creek is unfishable because of the weeds
San Joaquin River: Very low water levels on the San Joaquin
: Fishing is good but make sure the lake you choose is open
