On Feb 11, there was some thin, unstable ice on the reservoir, and it was quickly deteriorating. There is anywhere from two to eight feet of open water and thin ice all around the reservoir -- not quite enough to cast from shore. The road to the boat ramp is clear of snow, but it's muddy and can be slick. Sedans shouldn't have a problem driving to the boat ramp. If the weather remains warm, open water fishing will be possible soon.
