Bass have been biting down deep off steeper walls and points using deeper diving baits such as jerk baits and crank baits along with various soft plastic setups to finesse throughout the day. Senkos, jigs, roboworms and any creature baits have all been working well throughout the colder days either fishing with a ned rig, weightless or drop shot.

Catfish have been biting well still from the points past the swim beach area along with any coves throughout the lake down deep using anchovies, chicken liver or nightcrawlers with a heavy sinker and a long leader Carolina rigged.

Stripers have been biting in deeper water upwards to 80 feet on cut bait and spoons. Some anglers have had luck trolling the lake to cover more water and get bit but most stripers that gave been brought in have all been on baits like lugworms, anchovies, sardines.
