At Dankworth Pond, the bass fishing is solid. Anglers reported having luck with topwater lures such as frogs and poppers and some success with purple-colored plastic worms. The bluegill and sunfishing is always good here; meal worms and night crawlers work best. The catfishing has slowed down a lot here with no recent reports. A few reports say common carp are being caught on dough balls in the evening. Cattails were cut recently, so there is plenty of shoreline access now.
