Here's a remarkable catch by our local angler, Ray Macmillan, from the shore of our community park. Using a paddle tail swim bait in a trout pattern, he landed a magnificent beast weighing in at 27.28 pounds and measuring 41 and 1/2 inches—a truly impressive trophy fish. The community park area is also excellent for stripers, especially near the casinos where anglers have had some great catches using various lures.
Rotary Park has seen decent trout action lately following recent stockings. Additionally, reports from Lake Mohave suggest that the striper bite is improving, particularly around Telephone Cove and the basin. Anglers are advised to watch for feeding birds, indicating the presence of stripers beneath the surface.
We hope this update proves helpful, and we eagerly await your visits to share your catches and stories. Thank you for your continued support!
