The Wilson is predicted to blow out on Wednesday but according to the forecasted river levels should be back in shape by the weekend. The forecast seems a bit optimistic to me, so check conditions before going. There are hatchery steelhead and catch and release opportunity for wild steelhead throughout the river, and fishing has been fair to good when conditions cooperate.
Hatchery winter steelhead on the Wilson are from wild broodstock and as such the run peaks January through March.
