Water Conditions: Poor the flows are still raging at 596 cfs as of 11/3.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Fair and don't expect the flows to drop anytime soon. But when they do, the fishing should be excellent!
Fishing is challenging at best...Try to fish slower water on the inside of bends, high sticking whenever possible.

NYMPH: Drowned Trico Spinner #22, Gould Drowned Spinner #22, Micromayfly Brown #18, Headlight Yellow Sally #18, BH Flashback Pheasant Tail #16-20, Zebra Midge #18-22, Medallion Midge #20, Mitchel's Split Case PMD #16, Fox's Caddis Poopah Tan #18, San Juan Worm

Hot Creek: Fly Fishing with Midges and Caddis are the imitations of choice at Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: Dry dropper set ups are working the best for Fly Fishermen on the San Joaquin
Crowley Lake: The Fish are on the move at lake Crowley, so the Fisherman have to move if the is no action.
Owens River: The Spawning is beginnig in the Upper Owens
Owens River: Fly Fishing can be very good in the Owens River Gorge, the problem is getting by the stinging nettle
Owens River: Fly Fishing is still challenging on the Lower Owens because of the high flows
Bridgeport Reservoir: Keep on the move when fishing at Bridgeport and use streamers with a nymph trailer by the weed beds
East Walker River (CA): Crafish imitations are very hot on the East Walker right now
