Area roads can be muddy following periods of storm activity, and NDOW is warning visitors to use caution when driving. Anglers should also be mindful of thunderstorm activity and adjust their activities accordingly. Weedy conditions common to the summer months make things difficult for boaters. Bass are taking most lures and night crawlers. Trout action has slowed down with the heat, but fishing can be good in the early morning and after sundown.
