There are still pockets of open water throughout the reservoir, and existing ice should be considered unsafe at this time. There is limited shoreline access near the boat ramp and in the coves.

Wild Horse Reservoir: As of 12/31/24 the reservoir still has pockets of open water and is NOT safe for ice fishing
South Fork Reservoir: The reservoir is around 70 percent open water, with the rest being covered in very thin ice
Jiggs Reservoir (Zunino Reservoir): Jiggs Reservoir is frozen over with unsafe ice
: The reservoir is 60 percent open water with an unsafe ring of ice around the edge
