Pyramid Lake rose to 85 percent of its storage capacity, and water temperatures held in the low fifties. Pyramid Lake saw plenty of rain with fewer anglers last week. Trout anglers who braved the wet conditions found a decent bite with garlic scented dough baits and Mousetails. Bass fishing was on the slow side with fewer reports than weeks past. Deep diving crankbaits, jigs, and finesse baits have been the go presentations lately with fish holding in the 15 to 40 foot zone. Striped bass were reported by shore anglers soaking cut sardines near the marina. Catfish took dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver at the inlet.
