Water Conditions: Super clear and cold. Lot of bigger wild fish holding in the moving water, inlets and outlets.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Lots of hatchery fish are being put in making the fishing excellent. Pulling streamers during the day. Still nymphing in the morning or evening. You will have better luck with surface action around the banks and moving water.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: #18 Humpy, #16 Royal Wulff, #16- #20 Sierra Brite Dot, #16- #18 Renegade, yellow/ tan stimulators, Callibaetis, Griffith Gnats, Parachute Adams, biot sparkle midge
NYMPHS: Variety of midges, #18 medallion midges, black beauty, WD40, AP emerger, birds nest, Hares ears, Copper johns, san juan, rainbow warrior, zug bug, western coachmen
STREAMERS: Goat Leech, BH Bopp leech, Doc twins, small perfection perch,

Hot Creek: When fishing Hot Creek check out the Caddis hatch in the evening
Crowley Lake: At Crowley you can catch almost as many Browns & Cutthraots as Rainbows with a big, fat Perch
Owens River: Upper Owens fishing is fair to good & the water is a little off color
Owens River: The flow at the Owens River Gorge is 175 cfs & the fishing is good
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Water is still cold at Pleasant Valley Reservoir so the rule of thumb is "Deep dark and slow"
Rock Creek - Section 1: Nymphing is the perferred techinque on Rock Creek
Rush Creek: Good fishing on Rush Creek between Grant Lake & Hwy 395
Owens River: The flows on the Lower Owens will stay around the 245 level, making the fishing consistent.
East Walker River (CA): Flows are up on the East Walker River
