Here at River Walk the CDFW stocked trout last week. Anglers have been scoring trout with Powerbait, mousetails, spinners and jigs. The overall trout bite has been very good over the last few weeks with an occasional lightening trout showing in the mix. Bass have been coming on crankbaits, jerkbaits, jigs and shad imitation plastics on drop shot. Bluegill have been showing at both lakes with wax and red worms. The BKO Fishing Derby is scheduled here on February 8, 2025. Both lakes will be stocked with over a thousand pounds of trout to 5lbs and 25 tagged fish worth up to $1000.
