Illipah Reservoir is approximately 85% ice covered with unsafe ice. All ice should be considered unsafe and will likely remain unsafe until we get another cold snap. There is enough open water along the western shoreline that should provide anglers the opportunity to fish.  A total of 9,012 rainbow trout averaging 9.3 inches were stocked this fall.
