The urban ponds are scheduled to be stocked with channel catfish the week of August 12. Lorenzi Park will also receive catfish. The park's grand reopening will take place August 17. At Sunset Park, largemouth bass and bluegill are plentiful but tend to hit best in the early morning hours. The ponds at Floyd Lamb Park remain closed until further notice.
