The Wilson gets a hatchery summer steelhead run and all indications are that it’s decent this year. Recent surveys found fair numbers of fish concentrated in pools throughout the upper river. Fishing for steelhead can improve in September as cooler, longer nights bring water temperatures down and get fish that have been holding more active.
